This week in pre-K we have been learning about ways we can move and maneuver our bodies. We are also talking about our personal space and how to be respectful of the personal space of others. Our morning message has began focusing on onset and rime. We have also been doing sentence segmentation, word length and punctuation. We have started focusing on the letter formations and this week they are the letters: Aa, Bb, Cc. We had fun with a read aloud and played “dance it out” And in math our focus is rote counting to 30 this week. Each day we are patterning our way up to 30.

Precision and accuracy are crucial in agriculture whether spacing between crops, measuring plot dimensions, or constructing structures. The Survey of Ag classes are getting familiar with accurately reading a Tape Measure this week in class. This hands on experience directly translates into improved efficiency and overall success in many areas, even outside of the agriculture world.
