This week in pre-K our children are learning about family members beyond their immediate family. This includes aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins. They are discovering how these extended family members fit into their family as well as now these relatives love them and help them when needed. We have been enjoying our listening center time. We also practiced what we would pack in a lunch if we were traveling to visit relatives. They enjoyed making sandwiches and packing them in containers to go.
In our math small group today we are comparing quantities. We are learning to identify quantities up to 5 without counting and use mathematical strategies to solve problems. We also made a T- chart to allow each child to share what name they use for their grandparents.
