THS quiz bowl participated in the State quiz bowl today. These students played 5 rounds and finished in the top 8 schools. This week was all about arachnids ando worms! In literacy, we practiced breaking words down into their sounds. In math, we found how shoes Mr Spider was missing using manipulatives to find the difference. The highlight? Our fun and creative spider hats!

After learning from the best, our students had a blast decorating their own mini cookie cakes! 🍪

Carissa Furst, a junior at THS, scored a perfect score of 36 on the state ACT in March 2025. Carissa is currently on track to be an honor graduate next year. Her parents are Steven & Misty Furst. THS & JCSD are proud of Carissa and her achievement.
