2025-2026 School Choice
The Jackson County School District participates in School Choice. Applications can be obtained from the district’s Administration Office at 300 North Dowell Avenue in Tuckerman. New applicants requesting consideration to begin enrollment within the Jackson County School District must complete an application. The district must receive each completed application no later than May 1, 2025.

THS Esports Chaos Court scored another WIN in Round 2 of Spring SMASH Bros Playoffs against Greene County Tech High School. Final score of 3-2! They advance to play Friday at 4 where they play El Dorado.

Tuckerman High School FBLA members attended the State Leadership Conference this week in Little Rock. The students competed in business events, attended workshops, and enjoyed time in the city. Seven students advanced to the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim this summer! We are so proud of all of our students for representing our school so well!

The high school baseball team lost to ICC yesterday by a score of 6-1. Austin Morgan provided the 1 run with his first career home run. Today's game with Cedar Ridge has switched to a home game starting at 4:30. Go Bulldogs!

The bus route which picks up the students in the city of Grubbs, will run 10 minutes earlier starting tomorrow morning, due to the road closures along the route.

PROM UPDATE:
Prom has been rescheduled for next Saturday, April 12th. The Senior Walk will start at 7:30 PM at the Vault 1916 in Newport, Arkansas. Parents may attend to watch the Senior Walk. Prom will begin directly after the Senior Walk.
If any student requires assistance or support due to the rescheduling of Prom, please do not hesitate to contact the high school office. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Tuckerman High School is postponing the Senior Prom scheduled for tonight due to weather and flooding. With raining continuing all day, this decision was made for the safety of our students. Prom will be rescheduled, and the new date will be announced at a later time. Thank you for your understanding!

The baseball team improved to 4-4 on the season with a 5-2 win over White County Central yesterday. Andy King picked up the win in relief, and Jordan Watson had 2 hits. Thursday’s game at Mammoth Spring is canceled and will be made up as part of a doubleheader on April 21 when they come to Tuckerman.

Swifton Middle School will be dismissing at 12:30 pm.
JCSD Preschool will also be dismissing at 12:30 pm. If you would like to pick your child up before rest time(11:30 am) begins, feel free to do so.

Due to the severe weather Swifton Middle School will dismiss at 12:30. Shuttles buses will leave at 12:35. Car riders can be picked up at 12:30 at Swifton.

The Jackson County School District will be dismissing today at 1:00 pm due to the threat of severe weather this afternoon.
Tuckerman Elementary carline will begin at 12:45 pm.
