Tuckerman High School was well represented at the Arkansas District II FBLA Fall Leadership Conference this morning! The students got to hear a great message from Miss Arkansas, our chapter officers were officially installed, and Kade Keton announced our chapter during the annual Parade of Presidents. It was a fun day with a great group of students!

The Lady Bulldogs finished 4th today in the 2A state golf tournament. Taryn Sink was the overall individual medalist with a score of 80. Great showing by the team. Awesome job as well for Emily Gates and Karlee Penix to cap off their first season playing golf. Taryn advances to play the best golfers from all classifications in the overall tournament on October 17. Go Bulldogs!!!







We got a lot of produce today that will not hold until food pantry distribution on Wednesday. We have mixed salad, spinach, tomatoes & broccoli florets. If you want any, it is in the parking lot beside the Agri Building and across from the Auditorium, the normal area for the food pantry distribution. ANYONE is welcome to it, first come first serve. Come and get it!
Kindergarten students have been working hard to recognize all capital and lowercase letters. These students have mastered that skill! We are so proud of them and their picture will be placed on the Letter Wall of Fame at school!

Congratulations to these 5th grade students for becoming 100% fluent on their multiplications facts from 1-10.

Several members of the cross country team ran in the Sydney Sutherland memorial 5k on Saturday. Avery Brunner won 3rd place overall and first in his age group. Clinton Pretty won second in his age group. Brian Hurst won first in his age group. These runners ran in memory of Tuckerman class of 2014 graduate Sydney Sutherland.








THS Esports Wins 2-0 Against Mena High School in first fall season Mario Kart game today. Team members include: Killian Myers, Adrian Johnson, Vincent Branscum, Jax Welsh, Ryan Keller; Katherine Ross, Jayden Chitty. Congrats!!!!

Some of our students have worked hard on being able to ride balance bikes and tricycles.




This week in pre-K we have been talking about relatives. We referred back to our book we've been reading on if they could fly where they would fly to or what they would say. They talked about the names they called their grandparents. We've made sets of 3 in math. We also introduced Frog-E which is Fanny's robotic cousin that we can program to make him move.









TES Girls Intramural Basketball is In full swing.










The sixth grade students played a game today to practice understanding the connotation of words. The teacher said a word, and the students had to move to the sign to show if the word had a negative, positive, or neutral connotation.




In math, 7th graders matched a word problem to their mathematical expression, then simplified the expressions.







In Frogstreet we are talking about relatives. On Monday they discussed what they did with relatives. Today we read "Abuela". She could fly and they dictated as to what they would see. In math we were recognizing numbers to 4







Swifton PreK started learning coding with Frog-e today.










Today I'm preschool we discussed what a set was and also counted how many objects was on the card!








TES first graders have been utilizing the interactive boards that were installed this summer! They have been immersed in: missing numbers, number bonds, vowels, writing, sight words, science, animal study, problem solving, & much more!

Friday was National #WhyApply Day! Our teachers & staff dressed in college apparel and shared some fantastic reasons why students should apply to college!
