This week in PreK our theme is sea life. Some of our activities have included sifting and finding shells in sand, naming marine life, fishing for marine life, and making fish using pattern blocks.

Parent Night for current 11th grade! Thursday 4/18 at 7:00 pm

We were fishing at Swifton today and sorting by size!

This week in pre-K we have been talking about sea life. We have been learning about the creatures that live there and how to care for the plants and animals that live there.
In sensory they have been burying seashells and finding them.
In art they have been creative in making pictures of sea life animals.
In literacy we have used words to label and describe something to figure out what it is. We have also segmented, blended and deleted syllables. In math we made pattern block fish and talked about fish swimming together in a “school” (large group). Children were given pattern blocks to make a fish so that we could make a school of fish together. We also compared quantities.

SMS Parents:
Who's Who pictures will be this Thursday morning. If your child was elected for a category, please make sure they are at school that day. Students received an email with a list of those who were elected.
