This week in pre-K we have been talking about sea life. We have been learning about the creatures that live there and how to care for the plants and animals that live there. In sensory they have been burying seashells and finding them. In art they have been creative in making pictures of sea life animals. In literacy we have used words to label and describe something to figure out what it is. We have also segmented, blended and deleted syllables. In math we made pattern block fish and talked about fish swimming together in a “school” (large group). Children were given pattern blocks to make a fish so that we could make a school of fish together. We also compared quantities.
