Golf has had a busy week playing at Village Creek on Monday, Eagle Mountain on Tuesday, and Newport Country Club on Thursday.
On the girls side, Taryn Sink was the medalist for all three matches; in fact she has been the medalist for all six matches that we have played! Emma Toddy continues to improve nearly every time on the course.
Meanwhile, the boys were paced by Cody Brooks this week, who racked up the lowest score each day for the boys team. Noah Young tied Cody for the lowest score on the team once this week and was second lowest another time. Finley Lancaster had the second lowest score from the team at Eagle Mountain. Jordan Watson and Grant Soden continue to contribute and improve on a weekly basis.

With this extreme heat this week we decided to do a little experiment.
We let each child predict what they thought would happen if we kept the crayons in the shade vs. If we placed them in the direct sun.
In the shade the crayons weren’t even getting soft. After placing them in the direct sun it didn’t take long for them to completely melt out of their wrapper. 🖍️ ☀️ ~ Mrs. Heather & Mrs. Susan pre-K

This week we have been learning about our bodies! We have labeled body parts, danced to different body movements, used our hands and nose to smell/feel different textures than we used our feet to walk on the different textures. The kids had a AWESOME week learning about their body!!
