Third grade made dream houses this week using area in math class.










This week in Frogstreet we are learning about movement. Our word this week is maneuver. Today in literacy we read an I Can book together. We also come up with some action words. This afternoon we tried kiwi!! Some liked it and some did not but they enjoyed trying it!









JCSD high school math teachers spent the day at the Co-Op learning from Jason Cianfrance about improving assessments as part of our PLC process.

Tuckerman High School had 24 students who earned incentive checks for passing their AP exam during the 2023 school year! We are so proud of these students.







Crime Scene Investigation students are learning how DNA is used in investigations.Yesteday students constructed DNA strands using candy.










Esports is warming up for the Spring 2024 season, which starts next week!! 3 teams are gearing up for Wednesday SMASH, while 1 team is gearing up for Thursday Mario Kart. Looking forward to another great season!!!

Swifton Preschool learned about gravity by allowing gravity to pull a car down a ramp.

This week in PreK we are talking about ways to move. Today we did sentences about how they move. We did movement on a line. We also did a numeral dance.









So proud of these Jr girls! Played one of their best defensive games of the season in last nights win over Newport.

We love fruit day! Red pears for the win!




Mrs. Bethany visited Mrs. Amanda's kindergarten class this week to help with Writer's Workshop. The students loved having her with them in class!








This week in pre-K we have been learning about ways we can move and maneuver our bodies. We are also talking about our personal space and how to be respectful of the personal space of others.
Our morning message has began focusing on onset and rime. We have also been doing sentence segmentation, word length and punctuation. We have started focusing on the letter formations and this week they are the letters: Aa, Bb, Cc.
We had fun with a read aloud and played “dance it out”
And in math our focus is rote counting to 30 this week. Each day we are patterning our way up to 30.










3rd grade has been reading about Norse/Scandinavian Mythology. One of our activities was creating a Viking longship using only our bodies. They did a great job!
