This week in PreK we are studying about spiders, scorpions, and worms. In math we decided how many worms it would take to complete our math story. We threw small spiders into a spider web. We dictated sentences as when we were busy as in the story " The Very Busy Spider."

This week in pre-K we have been learning about 3 bugs that many people don't like: spiders, scorpions, and worms. We have learned that not all of these creatures are dangerous and how to stay safe around those that are. We have also talked about how some of these creatures can be very helpful. In our morning message we have learned about a comma and that it reminds us to pause between words. We have made a Venn diagram comparing scorpions and spiders to humans. We have still been working on phonemes in literacy. In math we have been comparing quantities using objects and pictures to add and subtract. We have been understanding addition as putting together and adding to.
