This weeks theme is adventure! We have been talking about the beach, zoo and amusement parks. In literacy, we read a book about the beach. We also played some games like you would see at amusement parks.
THS students competed in the ACTM regional math competition at Lyon College on Saturday. Noah Bartsch finished 1st for Pre-Cal/Trig and Brian Hurst finished 3rd in the same category. Both will advance to the state competition on April 20th. Ryan Keller competed in Algebra and Brian Patterson competed in Geometry.
6th grade students are using their Algebra skills to stop Pemdas Orelse from creating a world conquering device!
Computer programming students enjoyed using their Python coding skills to escape “Python Prison” in a digital escape room activity!
First grade learned a little about FFA, big tractors, and farming today during National FFA week. Some of them even want to be future farmers one day.
Ms. Luann received the Educator Recognition Award today at the AGATE conference. This award is given for significant contributions to the Esucarion of GT students.
