This week we are discussing: places kids go! We have been talking about the beach, zoo and amusement park! On Monday the kids picked one to draw about then today we counted how many we had for each category and put a tally for each one!
This week In Frogstreet we are discussing places kids like to travel. In math we worked gathering information, organizing information and categorizing information. We are talking about travel and picnics.
Regional Basketball Tournament Ticket Information
Admission for the tournament is $7.00 for everyone ages 5 and up. Cash will not be
taken up at the gate. Instead all tickets will be digital and must be purchased through GoFan.

Our first grade took full advantage of this beautiful weather with some outdoor spelling practice!
Kindergarten students love recess and the sunshine!
This week, our preschool classes explored the concept of grids! Today, we played an exciting game using a 5×6 grid. We rolled the dice twice, used the numbers to find our spot on the grid, and had so much fun in the process. It was a great way to learn through play!

The Jackson County School District will be open on Friday, February 21st, at the normal time.
Due to the inclement weather, the Jackson County School District will be closed Thursday, February 20th.
The 2A-2 District Basketball Tournament originally scheduled to be played this Thursday & Friday, has been postponed until Friday & Saturday.
No decision has been made at this time about school tomorrow.
