This includes both grades K-12 & the preschool. The last day of school will now be May 14th. The Sr. Boys Basketball team will be playing in the 2A State Championship at 1:45 pm. in Hot Springs.

This week in kindergarten the students are learning the correct names of 2D and 3D shapes and the attributes of each one. Students completed an attribute sorting activity where they sorted shapes in to groups of 2D and 3D. They will also discuss other ways 3D shapes can be sorted later this week.
SMS GT Chess team competed today at the Northeast Arkansas Educational Co-op.

The Jackson County School District would like to announce its 2025-2026 Preschool Registration for Tuckerman & Swifton campuses. Registration will take place at the Tuckerman ABC Preschool Office on Monday, April 7th from 11:30 to 6:00 & Tuesday, April 8th from 8:00 to 4:00. Parents will need to provide the following paperwork at registration.
