Parents and Guardians,

As part of our ongoing commitment to assuring our students' and staff's safety and well-being, the JCSD will conduct a lockdown drill on all campuses on May 11, 2026. This drill aims to familiarize students and staff with the procedures to follow in the unlikely event of an actual emergency. Please rest assured that this is a precautionary measure, and there is no cause for concern.
Students and teachers will follow established procedures, including teachers securing their doors, turning off lights, and maintaining silence. The drill will only last a few minutes. Our administration, SROs, and other law enforcement personnel will be responsible for opening each classroom door as if it were a real emergency.
We recommend discussing this upcoming drill with your child to alleviate any concerns.

Forms are being sent home with your students to sign up for bus delivery.

May 13th the 5th and 6th grades will travel to Jacksonport for a cookout and games.

Congratulations to our sr high softball team for going undefeated at 10-0 in conference play this year. They have a run differential of 154-0 while claiming back to back conference championships with undefeated seasons!
