Congratulations to Kade Keton for placing 1st in Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure and Carissa Furst for placing 4th in Introduction to Information Technology. Both students qualified to attend the national conference this summer in Atlanta!

Congratulations to these 3 Chapter Officers: Eden Bodeker, Eli Smiltnieks, and Noah Young! They earned and will be receiving their State Degree at the State Convention on April 26th! 🌾 🌽 🌱 To be eligible to receive the State FFA Degree, a member must meet the following minimum requirements: 1. Have received the Chapter FFA Degree. 2. Have been an active FFA member for at least two years (24 months) at the time of receiving the State FFA Degree. 3. While in school, have completed the equivalent of at least two years (360 hours) of systematic school instruction in agricultural education at or above the ninth grade level, which includes a supervised agricultural experience program. 4. Have earned and productively invested at least $1,000, or worked at least 300 hours in excess of scheduled class time, or a combination thereof, in a supervised agricultural experience program. 5. Demonstrate leadership ability by: Performing 10 procedures of parliamentary law. Giving a six-minute speech on a topic relating to agriculture or the FFA. Serving as an officer, committee chairperson, or participating member or a chapter committee. 6. Have a satisfactory scholastic record as certified by the local agricultural education instructor and the principal or superintendent. 7. Have participated in the planning and completion of the chapter program of Activities. 8. Have participated in at least five different FFA activities above the chapter level. 9. Have participated in at least 25 hours of community service, within at least 2 different community service activities approved by the local advisor. Tuckerman High School Odyssey of the Mind Teams competed in State Competition today. Problem 1 team won 2nd and advances to World’s. Problem 3 team placed 3rd! We are so proud of these teams, all their hard work and dedication. A big thanks to Ms. Chambliss for being an outstanding coach for these kids!

Baseball win streak moves to 3 games with the Saturday matinee win over Bay 4-3. Timothy Ward was 1-3, 3RBI, and the save with 2 K's in one inning. Finley Lancaster was also 1-3 and had the other RBI. Andrew King picked up the win with 2 innings of no-hit relief with 3 K's.
