
This week in PreK we are studying insects that hop and jump. We have used a catapult and investigated insects using a magnifying glass.











2nd grade is coming to the end of their unit on states of matter. Today, we created a yummy treat that showed all three with a root beer float! The liquid was the root beer, the solid was the ice cream, & the foam created from the two made the gas.











The THS Mock Trial team competed at the Arkansas Bar Association State Mock Trial Competition on Friday! Great job, team! Go Bulldogs!


This week in pre-K we have been learning about insects that hop or jump. We have been talking about how they hop and jump and which ones are considered pests.
One of our vocabulary words is catapult and we learned that this word can be used both as a verb or a noun.
We have compared crickets and grasshoppers with a Venn diagram, blending spoken phonemes with picture support, and learning about subtracting this week.

Mrs Rowlett's Third Grade Science Class observed/measured an object's motion and provided evidence on how Earth's gravity affects objects the same way regardless of their weight!

Baseball improves to 1-1 with an 8-4 win over Hillcrest Thursday night. Finley Lancaster with 3R, 3SB. Caden Templeton 1-2, 2BB. Bronx Holland picked up the win in relief and Andrew King(1-2, RBI) had the 3-inning save with 5Ks. Next game is @ home Monday vs Bald Knob @ 4:30.

This week in our math, we have been learning about adding. We first started out with a story that had 4 insects + 2 more insects =6 insects! Today we added the numbers and signs!
