6th graders are gearing up to read a story next week by Roald Dahl. After our study of the author, we watched a video of the illustrator, Quentin Blake, showing how he drew one of his characters, Willy Wonka. Students followed along and showed off their art skills. We are excited to read "Boy, Tales of Childhood" next week.

7th Grade Science - Chemical Reactions & Matter Unit Students used 4 out of their 5 senses (sight, smell, touch, sound) to make observations before, during, and after a bath bomb was placed in water. They recorded their observations and questions in a T-chart in their notebooks. We will continue to explore and find answers to some of their questions.

Last week in pre-K we worked on routines and procedures. This week we are beginning our frog street and launchpad curriculum. In frog street we are introducing the term classmates and routines. We have learned where our names are on the letter wall and that our names begin with the same letter on the wall. We have been listening for target words today in small group and exploring with chain links in math.
