So proud of our softball team for the season they had this year. They finished 30-6 overall and made the semifinals of state before falling to Hackett today 7-2. I'm also thankful for the community support who came to watch our girls play at Palestine this week. Thank you!!
Bristen Wheeler hit a 3-run homerun with 2 outs and 2 strikes in the bottom of the 7th to lift the lady bulldogs to a 5-3 win over Quitman in the state tournament. They will play Hackett today at 2:30 in the semifinals at Palestine.
The lady bulldogs softball team defeated Cotter today in the first round of state 15-5. They play Quitman tomorrow at 3 in Palestine.

Congratulations to the Lady Bulldog softball team for winning the regional tournament with a 4-3 victory over Riverside!
Congratulations to the Lady Bulldogs for winning their first round game of regionals against Cross County 10-0 to earn a berth into the state tournament next week! Then the girls defeated EPC in the semifinals 10-0 to advance to the finals of regionals.
JCSD Academic Awards Assemblies will be held Monday, May 12!
Today was the first annual Swifton Middle School kickball tournament. 5th grade defeated 6th grade, who went on to lose in the last inning to 7th grade. The faculty then completely shut out 7th grade with an easy 3-0 win! The faculty walked off the field singing "We are the Champions!"🎵

Baseball and softball begin regional play on Thursday at Sloan-Hendrix. The baseball game against Riverside is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM. We had a blast! A HUGE thanks to Coach Sills for making it happen! 🐾 Also, a special thanks to Jaco PTO for purchasing each student K-4th a Field Day shirt and to Unity Health for purchasing shirts for teachers! It was so fun for everyone to have matching shirts this year!We appreciate it!

The lady dogs softball team tunes up for the regional tournament with a 10-1 victory over Pocahontas tonight.
Food Safety students learned how to make and can salsa last week with the help of Mrs. Joy West from the NEA extension office. It turned out great! Thank you, Mrs. West!
