Ms. Brook’s FACS class recently completed a cooking lab where they compared store bought eggs to Fresh Farm Chicken eggs, which were donated to the FACS class by our own Agri Program. They learned how to separate the yolks from the whites, and how to cook scrambled eggs. The class found the farm fresh eggs were much richer and flavorful! We love how our classes work together for the good of our students’ education!

This month 7th grade students in Mrs. Callahan’s Leadership class have been learning about Patriotism. Last Friday members of the Newport Fire Department showed them proper flag etiquette. This week students began raising and lowering the flag on the Middle School campus each morning and afternoon.
