No JV game tonight at Melbourne

THS Prom 2022 will be held at the Newport Country Club on Saturday, April 9. Prom will start at 7:00 and Pinkston’s will begin taking pictures at 6:30. Servers need to be there at 6:00. Senior Grand March will start around 8:30 and senior parents/guardians may attend. Please wait at the front entrance. Attached you will find the Prom picture order form.

Swifton Middle School 7th grade Career Development students hosted a Career Project Fair today. Students have been researching different careers over the past few weeks. Their research has included education & training needed, job duties and the job outlook for the next 10 years.




Here in Fayetteville with the FFA CDE teams for the State Contest! We compete tomorrow at 8:00am so we have to energize at the Catfish Hole tonight! Everyone check out Hayden on the left!

The baseball team goes to Midland today.

Team Awesome scored another WIN in regular season play today. 4-0 final score! Members include: DaKoda Taylor, Owen Keton & Nate Ethridge.

Parent Night for current 7th grade students will be held on Thursday, April 7th in the SMS Auditorium.
This will be held in conjunction with the 7th grade Career Project Fair. Parents will be able to view their students career projects from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Mrs. Angelia Holland, THS Counselor, will be discussing class selections for the 22-23 school year beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Lady Bulldogs beat Sloan Hendrix 15-0 in three innings. They will play Midland @ home Thursday at 4:00.

Baseball won the “Battle For the Bone” over Newport yesterday. Aaron Hurst threw a 1 hit shutout and had 12 strikeouts pitching while also clobbering a 3 run home run. Timothy Ward also had 3 runs batted in yesterday. Eli Tackett and Will Tubbs also contributed multiple hits.

Tuckerman High School FBLA students competed at the State Leadership Conference in Little Rock this week. The students represented our school well and we are proud of their efforts this year.




We are so proud of these Swifton Middle School FBLA members for competing in the State Leadership Conference in Little Rock today. They all represented our school well.
Congratulations to Bronx Holland and Zeke Church for placing 2nd in Business Ethics. They will advance to the National Competition in Chicago this summer!

JCSD Participates in School Choice!
The Jackson County School District participates in School Choice.
Applications can be obtained from the district’s Administration
Office, located at 300 North Dowell Avenue in Tuckerman. New
applicants requesting consideration to begin enrollment within the
Jackson County School District must complete an application.
Each completed application must be received by the district no
later than May 1, 2022.
