UPDATE: The mask status on the buses will be the same as in the school. Therefore, if we are facemask optional, we are optional in the school and on the buses.
Mask Required- District is red, purple or pink on the the ACHI(Arkansas Center for Health Improvement) map or JCSD has more than 10 COVID positive cases(students & staff).
Mask Optional- District is green, yellow or orange on the the ACHI(Arkansas Center for Health Improvement) map and JCSD has less than 11 COVID positive cases(students & staff).

Mr Michael Smith, JCSD Career Coach, brought his Real World Arkansas project to Mrs Callahan’s Leadership & Life Skills class this week. Students were given a career, salary & family situation. Students had to go to different stations, pay bills, write checks, & keep a balanced budget. Thanks to Tara Salinas & the ladies from M&P Bank and to Kristine Penix from ASUN for helping manage the real life stations & assisting students. Gift cards were given out in a drawing to 4 lucky students.




Today we continued to celebrate National FFA week! Today was our day of service. Ag Mechanics Class have been building these blessing box food pantries for the 3 communities that make up Jackson County School District. In Tuckerman and Swifton they are located at City Hall, in Grubbs it is located at the flagpole by the fire station! We also visited the Jackson County Humane Society and were able to donate 15 bags of pet food and $50 in monetary donations! Jackson County FFA is so happy to be able to be of service to our communities!




The Bulldog baseball team opens our season today @ 4:00. The weather is going to be great, come on out and root for us. Go Bulldogs!

Congratulations to Jamiya Whitmore and Lila Nicholson on being the February winners of the Library’s Reading Raffle! A total of 8,531 pages from books have been read between all of the 2nd-4th grade participants who chose to read and enter! Way to go girls! 💗📚🎟

Summer Baseball/Softball/Tee-ball forms will be going home with students this week. Please return these forms and money back to school with your child by March 18th.

2022 Bulldog Baseball Schedule

Due to the inclement weather, the Jackson County School District will be closed on Friday, February 25th. This will be an AMI day, students please proceed as you were instructed by your teachers.
The 2A central regional basketball tournament games scheduled for Thursday February 24, at White County Central have been postponed.
The School Food Pantry Distribution has been cancelled for today.
Due to the forecast of inclement weather, the Jackson County School District will dismiss early today at 12:00.

Tuckerman Bulldog Fans --
The baseball and softball teams intend to live stream every game possible this season. The live streams will be available on game days shortly before game time through the NEW GameChanger app available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

The Thursday & Friday lunch menu's for Tuckerman High School, Tuckerman Elementary School & Tuckerman Pre-K will be swapped, having pizza on Thursday and Chili on Friday.
Congratulations to the Jr High Quiz Bowl Team. They won 1st place in the Jr High Regional Tournament. Noah Bartsch and Bronx Holland qualified for All-Tournament Team. Way to go Bulldogs!!
