6th grade completed a Recipe Project as a part of our Equivalent Ratios module. We ended the section with some of their amazing recipes! We were too busy eating to get very many pictures!



First grade was honored to have Staff Sgt. Billy Vaulner come speak about his role in the military & being a community helper!

The Jackson County School District will be closed Friday, October 14th for the observance of our fall holiday.
Dr. Tew from ASU came to SMS today and met with the GT students. He gave a presentation on the Small Business Competition and The Stock Market Game! The students loved it!

THS FBLA members attended the District II Fall Conference today! Members and officers were officially installed and Brandon Smith announced our chapter during the annual Parade of Presidents.

Freshman Christian Ashley had outstanding performances at the Caveman open and the Bald Knob Invitiational cross country meets. At both meets, Christian placed 17th out of 265 runners. The cross country team will travel to Jonesboro next week for the Blazer Arvest Bank Invitational.

Lady. Bulldogs win a pair of jamboree games tonight at Hillcrest. They defeated bay 25-15 in their first game and defeated Hillcrest 27-8.
