The baseball team went 3-3 in tournaments over spring break. DT King, Brantley Lane, and David Platt launched their first home runs of the year. We return to regular season play today at Cave City.


The Jackson County School District would like to announce its 2022-2023 Preschool Registration which will take place at the Tuckerman ABC Preschool Office on Tuesday, April 5th and Wednesday, April 6th from 8:00 to 3:30.
Parents will need to provide the following that day:
Child’s birth certificate, social security card, immunization record and health insurance card. For adults living in the home, we also must have the following income verification: 2020 tax document, W-2’s, pay check stubs for one month’s current work, Form 040 Schedule C (if self-employed) or notarized letter if there is no earned income. Notarization can be done the day of registration at our site.
All student’s entering preschool are required to have a current physical/health screening/EPSDT.

UPDATE: The mask status on the buses will be the same as in the school. Therefore, if we are facemask optional, we are optional in the school and on the buses.
Mask Required- District is red, purple or pink on the the ACHI(Arkansas Center for Health Improvement) map or JCSD has more than 10 COVID positive cases(students & staff).
Mask Optional- District is green, yellow or orange on the the ACHI(Arkansas Center for Health Improvement) map and JCSD has less than 11 COVID positive cases(students & staff).

Tuckerman Lady Bulldogs place third in the upper division Ozark Classic. They beat Rogers Heritage and Mountain Home, while falling short to a very talented Bentonville. The lady dogs will take on Bald Knob March 28th. Go dawgs!

We improved to 5-2 (2-1) with a 8-5 win over Cedar Ridge last night . Owen Keller was 2-4, 2 RBI. Eli Tackett 2-3. Aaron Hurst and Brantley Lane each with an RBI and 2 R. Timothy Ward picked up the win in relief striking out 4 of the 7 batters faced. David Platt struck out 7 as the starter.


Regional quiz bowl tournament is today. The THS Sr. High team is ready for competition. Wish us luck!


Lady Dogs beat Cedar Ridge 14-0! The girls travel to Harrison today for a weekend tournament.


These FFA members and their helpers, competed at the Buffalo Island Chicken Show in Paragould today. We didn’t get the results we wanted, but they enjoyed the process and experience of raising broiler chickens!
